For so many of us, breast cancer has impacted our lives. What are you doing in support of breast cancer awareness? Please find below a few events taking place in this important month for breast cancer awareness and education that I personally will be supporting.
- Thursday October 15, 2009 -- Healing Star TM Launch Party at Ron Rizzo Jewelry Design, East Hills.
- Sunday October 18, 2009 -- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Jones Beach.
- LL Dent Restaurant, Carle Place. From October 1st to October 15th, LL Dent is offering a price fix menu, with all proceeds benefiting the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program. The cost is $25.95 per person.
- The Inn at New Hyde Park. Think Pink Drink Event. During the month of October proceeds from every "Pink Drink" will be donated to The Maurer Foundation. On Saturday October 17th, Pink Drinks are free with your donation.
